With word lately heard that a new full-length would be coming in June, and their promo campaign people playing out a slow tease that’s not totally pleased, Boards of Canada have just let slip a clip to trail Tomorrow’s Harvest. BoC-bies hoping for the head-rush of a “Davyan Cowboy”—from their last outing on Trans-Canada Highway some 7 years ago—will find the boys in more downbeat, haunted, but unmistakingly their own, wistful mood on “Reach for the Dead.”

Tomorrow’s Harvest will be released June 10th (June 11th in N. America) on Warp.

Beyond listening and reviewing, I engage otherwise with music, with outcomes in the form of self-assembled mix creations and audio-doodle under the moniker albient (via Soundcloud and Mixcloud). Based in Bristol, epicentre of 90s’ Trip-hop and ’00s Dub-step in the Wild West of England, I guess a person’s day job might be considered salient to who they are, so let it be known I earn a crust in language/literature and education, though, tbh, you’ll find more of me in the former than the latter.
